FORMULA: Sunset Melt

Tiffany Blair (@tblair.hair), a Goldwell Regional Artistic Team member, was inspired by the bright colors of the sunset.

The artist, based at G20 Salon & Spa, Boston, Mass, shares the HOW-TO, using all Goldwell products:

Regrowth: Level 7

Mid-shaft and ends: Level 10

Step 1: Pre-lighten the base of the hair with 35ml SilkLift 3% (10vol) lotion + 1 scoop of SilkLift High Performance Lightener.

Step 2: Section hair into 4 quadrants.

Step 3: Using thermal foils, starting in the nape area, apply each shade using a color melting technique:

      a)YY@all

      b)KK@all

      c)RR@all

      d)Pk@all

      e)VV@all

Step 5: Process for 30 minutes then shampoo twice with Elumen Wash and towel dry thoroughly.

Step 6:  Apply Elumen Lock for 5 minutes, then rinse and condition with Elumen Treat.
