Terra Shapiro (@Terrashapiro_atJuanSalon), of Juan A Salon, Sherman Oaks, California, a blonde and color correction specialist, had a challenge. "My client @amynicole1 had previously dyed brown hair who tried going lighter at another salon with undesirable results.  She finally found me and wanted me to rid the band of color she had her roots and all the brassy tones and she wanted me to make her a cool icy blonde."

Here Shapiro shares the HOW-TO in her own words:

First I mixed Olaplex #1 into Framesi Diamond Bleach with 40 volume on the band of color beyond her regrowth.  After 15 minutes I pulled the color through to half inch before her ends. The last step was to lift her natural root. Once desired lightness was achieved, I mixed Redken Shades EQ 9v and 9t with Shades developer and toned her from root to end. Then she sat with Olaplex #2 for 30 minutes and then was rinsed and shampooed. Viola!  The perfect white blonde!"
