Is there anything much better than a flawless balayage on a perfect lob? Not really.
Noora A. Ahmad (@hairbynoora) of Kyle Lawrence Salon in Simi Valley, California created this look by first cutting her client's hair into an A-line lob.
"I always prefer to do dry cuts," Ahmad says. "It gives me the control to see how the hair lays and ensure I don't take off too much."
Next, Ahmad went in and did babylights using Kenra Permanent 7sm and 25vol. To give some pops of light, she backcombed some areas around the face using Kenra Simply Blonde Blue Lightener 30v and let process for 25 minutes at room temperature. She finished the color by toning with new Kenra toner Ice.
