Liz Robson (@Liz.colors) of Salon Blonde, Davis California, says "I have been seeing this sweet client for over a year now, and man- we have done some really fun colors!" (Note the collage of her hair color history - from the first time she sat in Robson's chair to the most recent, including some of the before 'faded' photos "just cause they fade so pretty!")

Here Robson shares the most recent formula highlighted here:

Step 1: Pre-lighten root area with Schwarzkopf Blondme with 20 volume developer. Process for 15 minutes then apply a 'bleach bath' (bleach diluted with water & purple shampoo) to the mids/ends. Process for 10 minutes - keeping an eye on the color+integrity of her hair. Rinse, shampoo and condition. Dry the hair.

Step 2: Prepare the fashion colors (all Pulp Riot):

Dark pink: 3 parts Cupid, 1 part Lemon.

Light pink/coral: 2 parts Cupid, 1 part Lemon, ("mixing in conditioner to dilute to our liking.")

Green: 3 parts Seafoam, to about 1part Absinthe- ("but again I kinda eyeballed it, mixing until I got the color we wanted.")

Blue: 2 parts Powder with a few drops of Nightfall.

Turquoise: 2 parts Aquatic, a few drops of nightfall, and conditioner mixed in to dilute it.

Yellow: Just Lemon.

Orange: Lemon with a drop of red.

Purple: 3parts velvet, w/ a few drops of nightfall and conditioner to dilute to our liking.

Step 3: Apply the colors to dry hair using a zig zag parting to section the top from the bottom. Apply the rainbow colors to the underneath and the pink to the top half in a color melt technique.

Step 4: Process for 20 minutes. Rinse well in cold water. Deep condition the hair.
