Holiday How-to: Faux Fringe Top Knot
Tricia Cosgrove, @mama_cos

This classy top knot by L'Oréal Professionnel's Tecni-Art Holiday Party Looks not only sweeps the hair out of your client's face, but it's also an elegant look for a holiday party or get-together.

The best part about this look is that your client doesn't need bangs in order to pull this off - it's a faux fringe! Shhh..we don't tell if you won't!

  1. Prep hair with Dual Stylers Sleek and SwingTilt the clients head back and gather hair at the high-point of the head, secure with a hair bungee. Use length from the ponytail to cover the bungee by wrapping the hair around the band until it’s hidden, secure with a u-pin. Split ponytail into two sub-sections and twist to create a knot. Leave enough length out to form a faux-fringe.
  2. Direct length towards the face and style a faux-fringe, set with Extreme Lacquer.
  3. Use Architexture and Shower Shine to finish.

Stylist Tip: Flying away? To whisk up out of place strands, blow-dry Architexture in hand to reduce product viscosity for pliable shine and control.
