Art of Business President Josh Hafetz conducted a class on the art of leadership and the techniques that can be used to develop leadership qualities.
The Event: The Eufora family gathered in San Diego, CA on October 16-17, 2016 for their bi-annual Global Connection. This seminar offers concentrated time and space for salon owners, hairdressers and Eufora team members to step out of their routine and truly connect with each other. Eufora CEO and Co-founder Beth Bewley and Fred Phillips, executive vice president of sales, Eufora, hosted the event which included presentations from Eufora creative teams from around the world and continuing education from industry leaders.
The Stage: Presentations from the stage included gorgeous runway shows, an awards ceremony and inspiration through humor. Keynote speaker Christine Cashen presented, “Stop Global Whining,” and challenged attendees to stop complaining and become part of the solution.
First up on the runway was a tribute to the late Don Bewley, co-founder of Eufora, featuring some of his most memorable hair styles and makeovers through the decades.
Four additional runway shows were presented by Eufora Global Trainers, including Team UK, Team Japan and the Eufora HERO for Men Team, who launched a new look for the line. Also newly-launched, EuforaColor Artisan Shades of direct dyes were incorporated into the hair color shown on stage.
Eufora Creative Director Philip Carreon presented a stage show that reflected this years’ theme, Beauty in Motion, a concept that showcases the ways in which Eufora and its artists work to move the industry forward with innovation and continued education.
“I’m in the company of an amazing woman, Beth Bewley, and am surrounded by an amazing team,” Carreon says. “They are all so dedicated and collaborative. They will make a masterpiece one minute, then pitch in to sweep up the hair, the next.”
