Each winner receives a $2,500 tuition scholarship funded by MUD, Make-Up Designory toward makeup artistry education. A panel of industry professionals evaluated applicants’ online videos and inspiration boards, describing their passion for makeup artistry. Each winner’s video or inspiration board expressed how a career in professional make-up would help them change lives – both their own and those they served.

Lynelle Lynch, president of the Beauty Changes Lives Foundation, said the BCL|MUD Make-Up Scholarship helps raise awareness of career opportunities in the professional makeup industry. “From creating special effects on a movie stage to offering bridal and special occasion make-up services or working in a salon, make-up artistry offers a range of career opportunities in diverse settings,” said Lynch.

Beauty Changes Lives partnered with MUD Make-up Designory to create the first scholarship focused exclusively on make-up. “We are honored to offer recipients a scholarship funded by one of the most revered names in professional beauty.  MUD Make-Up Designory is recognized internationally for its innovation and leadership,” said Lynch.
