Coryn Eyring (@corynneylon_hair.) of Charles Scott Salon (right outside Cleveland, Ohio) says her client "came in with level 2 hair, in her words 'not black', and brassy orange ends. She begged me for an ashy/natural level 6/7 root. She did not want to see any red, which is always a task."
Here Eyring shares the details for this 4 hour transformation:
Step 1: Adjust base on shampooed hair with Wella Koleston 9/8 & 8/2, 20 volume for 7 minutes. Work through the ends for the last 2 minutes to help cut some brass.
Step 2: Dry and apply heavy face framing foils and babylights throughout with Wella Blondor and creme bleach with 20 volume and Olaplex.
Step 3: Balayage between with foils and Wella Freelights blended with 40 volume developer.
Step 4: Tone with Wella Color Touch Relights /86.
Step 5: Melt and mute the roots with Color Touch 7/0 & 7/1 blended with 6 volume for 10 minutes. Seal with Olaplex 2.
