COLOR CORRECTION: Killing The Band

Gioryi Darwich (@Gigi_your_stylist) of Elegant Studio, Philadelphia, PA, had quite the challenge when she met this client who did not want a touch up. "She actually wanted to keep the top dark brown." Darwich realized thin, back-to-back highlights would erase the band.

Here she shares the details:

Step 1: Highlight wth thin back to back slices foils using Matrix bleach, blended with 40 volume developer.

Step 2: Apply thin lowlights using Salerm 5n with 20 volume developer.

Step 3: Erase the dark band in the middle with thin back to back slices using Matrix bleach and 40 volume developer.

Step 4: Process to desired lift and shampoo.  No toner needed.
