Samantha Schock (@sam.schock) of Gina Bianca Hair, Plantsville, Connecticut, wowed us with this amazing makeover from classic highlights to bold blonde.

"Caroline was previously just a highlight client who wanted to grow her hair out and make it healthy. We have been just doing face frame highlights and melting her root down to blend. At our most recent  appointment she told me she wanted to be all over white blonde."

Here Schock shares the details:

Step 1: Lighten regrowth using Wella Blondor with 10 and 20 volume, with Uberliss added. Process for 20 minutes.

Step 2: Re-apply Blondor with 20 volume and Uberliss through out the mid shaft. Process for another 20 minutes.

Step 3: Mix another bowl of Blondor with 10 volume and Uberliss and pull through, processing the ends for about 10 minutes. Rinse with cool water and shampoo.

Step 4: At sink apply Paul Mitchell The Demi glaze 7N 6BV with a dot of 9N to the root and melt down. Rinse the ends and let that sit for 10 minutes.

Step 5: Apply another glaze: 9V and Clear Paul Mitchell The Demi all over and let that sit for 5 minutes. Rinse, shampoo and condition.

Step 6: Cut and wave the hair with the Paul Mitchell Express 1.25 inch curling iron.

This season’s trend in natural hair color--like this dimensional golden blonde—is to take...
