"I wanted to show you what happened after I turned on my diva light it completely changed the look of her color," says Rachael Monahan (@Rachael_Monahan) of Jyl Craven Hair Design, Canton, Georgia. "It had been about 6 months since she had anything done to her hair. She hated it, it was dry brittle and it tangled so easily. She was a first time guest so we began with about a 10 minute consultation. She showed me a few pictures she was thinking of and I loved length she was going for. She had just turned 18 and was looking for something more updated. A haircut is an action that speaks louder than words."
Step 1: Begin with a shampoo and a new L'Oréal Serie Expert Power mix treatment and a massage. Comb out and section for a cut.
Step 2: Cut a blunt line (about 11 inches).
Step 3: Add some soft layers using point cutting techniques for some texture and softness.
Step 4: Apply about a nickel sized amount of the Kerastase L'Incroyable Blowdry Creme. Blow out and add a drop curl using a Bio Ionic 1 inch curling iron.
Step 5: Finish off with some Kerastase Elixer and Shu Uemura Sheer Lacquer hair spray.
