"Rock the Cure 2” is an all-star charity concert to be performed by The Tribe, a collective of over 30 of LA’s top session and touring musicians and vocalists that perform musical fundraising events for various causes throughout Los Angeles. The concert will be at The El Rey Theater on Friday and Saturday, June 22 and 23, at 8pm; doors open at 6:30 pm for a Silent Auction.

Since 2015, The Tribe (www.thetribeband.com) has raised over one million dollars for local charities through sold-out shows at LA-area venues, including a two-night multimedia event at the El Rey Theatre, a Beach Boys tribute at The Canyon in Agoura Hills, holiday concerts at CSUN, The Care Concert for homelessness at The Palace Theatre in downtown LA and another one at the El Rey, and most recently a Thomas Fire Relief concert at Bogies in Westlake Village. Proceeds from Tribe shows have gone to charities that help people and the environment, including City of Hope, MusiCares, The Mr. Holland’s Opus Foundation, Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, The Teen Project, TreePeople, The Beauty Bus Foundation, The Rescue Train, Project Play!, Pure Water for the World, My Stuff Bags, The Midnight Mission, LA Fire Department, and The United Way of Ventura County.

Proceeds for the upcoming show will benefit the City of Hope, a world leader in the research and treatment of cancer, diabetes, and other serious diseases. Founded in 1913, City of Hope is one of only 49 comprehensive cancer centers in the nation.
