Most viral post: One of my videos. I love making videos so clients and followers can see the process and how much fun my clients and I have together creating. The post went viral I mostly think because my client had the longest most beautiful hair with the most vibrant pink!

Favorite apps: iMovie to edit all of my videos and put them together, its definitely the easiest to use; Splice to add music to all my videos; and Facetune 2 to make my backgrounds more white so more focus is on the hair creation and to fix and blemishes on front-face photos.

Favorite hashtags: #modernsalon #pulpriothair #hannahdisconnected

Pro tips: Definitely angle and lighting. The angle of the photo I feel like is what really makes the photo. You don’t always want to see the back of people’s heads, I love getting side and front views! Mixing it up and getting my clients face in there is always my favorite. And you can NEVER have too many photos of one head!

Hidden talent: I like to think I’m an ambidextrous, I’m normally left handed but in a right-handed world I’ve learned to manage!

How social media changed my life: Social media has been a huge platform for my career. I’ve been doing it now for a little over two years and I never thought anything would really come of it, was I wrong! It’s opened up so many opportunities for me with companies and has started so many friendships within the industry for me. I have built my clientele from social media. I try to post at least once a day and I feel like if people see it then they believe it.

The first time I was featured on MODERN’s Insta: I think it was when I did a purple root with a cotton candy pink and I was seriously in love with the outcome. But I also was put on MODERN for winning the pastel contest recently, and that was really cool It was a model from a Pulp Riot class I had hosted, and I was so in love with the color—I guess everyone else was too!
