A picture is worth a thousand words, right? And this picture speaks volumes when it comes to fading hair color.
The revealing test is courtesy of the folks at Sexy Hair, who are (understandably) pretty stoked about their revamped Vibrant Sexy Hair Color Lock System. Sexy sent its testers into the lab with swatches of red hair—one of the fastest fading hues—and ordered them to start scrubbing. The swatch on the left represents freshly colored hair. The next one shows the hair after 25 applications of Vibrant Sexy Hair Shampoo and Conditioner. Next shows 50 applications of Vibrant Sexy Hair Shampoo and Conditioner and the next 75. The swatch at the far right depicts 75 shampoos with a competitive color care product.
