HOW-TO: A Romantic, Glossy Finish With a Metallic Shine

This easy-to-wear look from Revlon Professional’s Fall/Winter 2019 GlamSquad Collection embraces romantic, glossy finishes and a metallic shine.

FORMULA & APPLICATION

Natural level 5

Formula 1: Revlonissimo Colorsmetique, 30 g .821 + 30 g 5.12 with 90 g 10-volume developer

Formula 2: 30 g .821 with 45 g 10-volume developer

Formula 3: 15 g .821 + 15 g 8.2 with 45 g 10-volume developer

Formula 4: 15g .212 + 15 g 10.2 with 45 g 10-volume developer

 Create 15 braided sections, three on top, two on each side and eight at the back. Braid just the first 3 to 4 inches and leave the mid-lengths and ends free. Backcomb the unbraided hair to secure the sections.

1. To ensure complete saturation, divide the mid-lengths and ends of each section into two subsections. Then apply Blonderful Blonde Up Lightener 8, and isolate each subsection with Revlon Professional meche paper. Process until you reach a level 8-9, then shampoo and rinse. Release the braids and dry hair completely.
2. Apply Formula 1 to the new growth area. Process 25 minutes.
3. Five minutes into processing, quickly alternate Formulas 2, 3 and 4 on mid-lengths and ends. The application should take about 5 minutes, so that processing on the mid-lengths and ends is 15 minutes. Shampoo and rinse.
