Why did HairMax get involved in hair loss?
Hair loss and thinning hair are some of the biggest hair-related problems clients are facing today. HairMax laser devices were the first hair-growth lasers for home use to receive FDA clearance for the treatment of hereditary hair loss—men in 2007 and women in 2011. Since then, we have grown our distribution channel to include salon partners.
What education does HairMax provide?
The more education a stylists has about hair loss, the more empowered they will feel in discussing with clients. We provide a full professional overview treatment guide, clinical study documentation, consumer brochures and literature. Stylists will learn that HairMax provides laser therapy, which works through the process of photobiostimulation, energizing and revitalizing hair follicles to stimulate new hair growth. We provide a before/after booklet to show clients the results HairMax users have achieved and professional guides with charts to help the stylist determine if the client is a good candidate for HairMax.
What is HairMax's research and product development background?
We introduced home-use laser devices for hair growth to the world in 2000. Since then, we have invested in more clinical studies on light energy for hair growth than any other company to date. Seven clinical studies with 460 men and women have been completed on HairMax Laser devices with a 93-percent success rate. In 2007, the HairMax LaserComb became the first at-home laser device to receive FDA clearance. We now hold seven FDA 510(k) Clearances on our devices and 13 international medical device licenses and is sold in more than 170 countries.
In which salon revenue categories does HairMax fit?
HairMax products should be priced at full retail in salons, however, they can be incorporated into a comprehensive in-salon service priced at their own discretion. For example, salons can offer a hair and scalp analysis, scalp exfoliation and circulation massage with follow up visits, in addition to HairMax retail products.
How do you inspire salon professionals?
The hair loss and hair-thinning sector is a billion-dollar industry with more than 80 million sufferers in the U.S. alone. Many are frustrated and confused as to what to do and are desperately seeking guidance for real solutions. The salon industry is competitive, and it can be difficult to differentiate yourself from the salon down the block. You can be confident in offering the same HairMax Laser devices that physicians and hair restoration clinics offer their patients, while providing you a tremendous new source of income. With HairMax, you can expand your salons hair related offerings from cut, coloring and curling—to actually help your clients regrow their hair.
