Superstar stylist Anh Co Tran was teaching a master class at the L'Oréal Professionnel 110th anniversary celebration in Paris, France. It was one of the most popular classes held during the three-day event called "La French: The Art of Hair Coloring."

MODERN was lucky enough to be sitting front row (and right in front of the artist) when he demo'd how-to cut a perfect bob. The artist is truly a master of the style - just check out his Instagram page - @anhcotran. It is chock full of clean and perfectly executed silhouettes, many of them bobs and lobs.

In this first video he demo's his steps, including tips about length, tension, elevation and the different styles of cutting. In the second video, Co Tran follows up teaching how to style and texturize the bob for an alternate finish.
