Floyd’s 99 Barbershop has announced Jamie Repenning as their newly appointed president.

In his new role, Repenning will focus on expanding Floyd’s 99 market share while continuing to enhance the client experience through innovation in shop operations.

Repenning brings more than 20 years of leadership experience to his new role. Prior to Floyd’s 99, Repenning served as the teaming lead at Alert Innovation where he was tasked with ensuring that the startup sustained its culture through rapid growth. This experience helped shape his understanding of the fundamental relationship between culture and process. Repenning also served as managing partner for management consulting firm ShiftGear Work Design, where he consulted with a variety of companies and industries to apply the work design principles developed by the company founders at the MIT Sloan School of Management. His experience in work design allowed him to generate significant engagement and results for organizations in multiple countries and industries.

“Jamie has built an impressive resume and successful track record of operational accomplishments,” Floyd’s 99 co-founder, Rob O’Brien, says. “His people-focused leadership style and market understanding will build on the success of the Floyd’s 99 brand. Jamie’s focus on the future will help our company achieve its long-term strategic goals.”

In the earlier stages of his career, Repenning served as senior vice president - Western Canada for Harvest Power. He holds a Master’s Degree in business administration from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in business and economics from Colorado College.

“I was enamored with Floyd’s 99 from my first shop visit," Repenning says. "I am excited and honored to take on this challenge and look forward to partnering with our talented team to deliver on our mission. Together, we will accelerate the strategic objectives we’ve outlined to position Floyd’s 99 to provide our exceptional service on a larger scale."
