IN A SEA OF BALAYAGE AND BLONDES, a bright
blue or a firey red can feel refreshing. Artist Hailey Mahone
is no stranger to the world of color. A scroll through her
@haileymahonehair Instagram feed shows Mahone creating
looks on every color imaginable. With Alfaparf Milano’s
Revolution Direct Color, she’s able to achieve beautiful
variety without compromising the health of the hair.
For Mahone, the number one feature she loves is that
the product is true to tone.
“They have such a creamy consistency,” she says. “I
know that whether I’m using them for a natural shade or
a bold color, I can count on that.”
She also says the pastels have enough pigment that
they aren’t too opaque but still a true sheer pastel.

mixture of Electric Red and Deep Red.
