Mohammad Rahebi (@mo_hair) of the Kim Vo Salon, Beverly Hills, California, had an interesting and fun color opportunity for one of his younger clients - a student in desperate need of a correction.
With ten inches inch of new growth, a four inch band of solid warmth leading to very light mids and ends and natural hair below the occipital, Rahebi had his work cut out for him. "Her hair was quite damaged and dry, so I used Olaplex in every step," Rahebi says. This transformation took 2.5 hours from start to finish and Rahebi charged $450.
Here Rahebi shares details for the correction:
STEP 1: Apply Schwarzkopf 8:11 with 20 volume (Olaplex added) on the regrowth. Process for 30 minutes.
STEP 2: Highlight with Wella Blondor blended with 40 volume developer (Olaplex added.)
STEP 3: Process with heat to very pale yellow.
STEP 4: Shadow root with Redken Shades EQ 6N (Olaplx added.) Process for five minutes.
STEP 5: Tone with Redken Shades EQ 9P for three-four minutes.
