“My client came to me with some serious banding and over grown balayage,” says Daisy Goord (@daisy_goord). “She was heading off to Ibiza so wanted her hair brighter and blended for those holiday pics!” Goord, based at March Hair, Plymouth, United Kingdom, is known for her blonde transformations and color corrections, so her client came to the right place for that Ibiza vibe.

Here she shares the details for the color correction:

STEP 1: Goord  begins with a shadow root to address the blending: Wella Color Touch 7/1 plus 5/1, blended with 6 volume.

STEP 2: While processing, foilage the hair. Different strength bleach was used for each section to lighten while maintaining the integrity of the hair: Wella Blondor + 20 volume developer on natural hair, 30 volume on tint banded areas, 6 volume on old bleached ends.

STEP 3: Tip out the ends with Wella Blondor and 30 volume developer. Process according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

STEP 4: Tone with Wella Illumina 10/69 + 10/1 + 9/60 + 6 volume developer.

STEP 5: Blow dry using a Dyson Hair Dryer and style with a ghd classic straightener.
