Brendan Buoni prepped hair by making it smooth and shiny. He crimped hair, going about 2 inches down from zone 1. Picking up a large circular section in her crown, making sure the edges of the section were zigzags, Buoni pulled the section into a ponytail, pulling through a hair donut. He teased lightly at the top of the head, pulling section back and secured with a hairpin into the hair padding and begin to piece apart, defining with hairspray. On the side of the head, he took two diagonal back sections and rope braided them back, securing them into the hair padding with another hair pin. He clipped three wefts of extensions into the ponytail, and two more at the base of the neck.

Kayla Nelson used HairUWear Pro 18” clip-in extensions for extra fullness and length. She glossed the extensions in the color “Downtown Brown” with 1N and 9 volume for ten minutes to deepen the color to match model’s natural hair color. She also incorporated the 6-piece straight colored clip-in extension kit from HairUWear’s brand Hairdo, in the color “Pink Frost”, for a pop of pastel, wintery dimension! Nelson back-combed the fringe area of her crown, and pinned it into place to give her the perfect amount of height right at her hairline. She braided a Dutch Fishtail and secured it at the bottom with clear elastic and silver thread. For the finishing touches, she used a plastic sewing needle and silver thread to sew in loops of the silver thread throughout the braid for a bit of extra, subtle dimension and shine!
