“My client came to me two weeks before her wedding,” Kaitlin Cunningham (@kaitlinjadehairartistry) of Wollongong NSW Australia, says. “She wanted to be a lot lighter but to keep her natural root color. I told her it would be best to foil all of it and then to tone her roots to blend it all together perfectly.”

Here Cunningham shares the details for the four hour process:
STEP 1: Apply full head back to back foils using Lakme K Blonde Powder 10 volume, working up to 20 volume while feathering up to root.
STEP 2: Place the ends in foil and apply Lakme K Blonde powder gloss with 1.9% developer. Olaplex added to all formulas.
STEP 3: Watch foils, lifting to level 9. Rinse. Apply Olaplex no. 2 for 10 minutes. Shampoo.
STEP 4: Tone roots using Lakme Collage 35g 5 15g 4.60. Gloss ends using 30g 0/00 10g 10.22. Process for 15-20 minutes. Blow dry and style.
