This four-hour process by Aly Davis, Director of R. Cribb Salon in Myrtle Beach, SC, and a MODERN SALON Artist Connective member, resulted in a bright “after” that looks very on-trend and, more importantly, very healthy.

“This babe came in after a series of poor resulted hair services elsewhere,” explains Davis. “She had about two inches of regrowth, then a series of over processed banding from on scalp lightening, and old salmon colored pink and spotting.

“Her desired result was a bright, cool blonde with a slight shadow.”

THE PROCESS:
-Chop
-Heavy fine highlighting on regrowth and banding
-Root smudge
-Wet balayage on lightened ends
-Gloss
-Shampoo, Condition and Treatment with Viviscal Professional Thin to Thick Elixir

“The challenges with these services is keeping the hair integrity at its best. Luckily, she wanted a big change with her cut and that allowed us a little grace with her blonding.”

ITS OCTOBER WOO 🍂 Oh hey. Just me. Thinking about ya know- everything. Anyone else feel like... idk something’s coming but you just can’t pinpoint what? Energy is super weird lately. I’m just trying to go with the flow, breathe, and give myself some grace here as I prepare to make my biggest leap yet. I sure know how to choose good timing 😅😂 What a scary, hard, enlightening year this has been. But damn if it hasn’t taught some lessons to us all, right? This week’s reminders: - Check on your friends - Register to vote if you haven’t already - Ask for help if you need it - Be kinder to yourself - Drink your water and go outside and ground yourself some Whatever it may be you are facing right now, remember you are strong and powerful. Simply trying your best is okay no matter the outcome. Love ya mean it. 📸 @gabrielleperritte
