WATCH: Extending a Hand with Sacha Quarles and Nicholas French

Maggie Mulhern | April 18, 2013 | 10:28 AM

When Sacha Quarles found himself on set with an actress who was shedding her extensions, he lost no time in reaching out to a fellow hairdresser. Quarles, an accomplished and constantly-working stylist on stage, fashion, print, television and film, knew that time on set is money; he had to find a solution because the cameras were rolling.

It was Nicholas French who came to mind and to the rescue.  French,  artistic director for Matrix USA, and national creative director for SHE by SO.CAP.USA Hair Extensions, shared his knowledge with Quarles.  The resulting collaboration was a win-win.  Extensions secured, actress happy, and two hairdressers reminding us that, no matter how experienced or celebrated,  we all need a little help sometimes.
