Easihair Pro Introduces Extension Blending Shear

Jan Hillenmeyer | May 7, 2013 | 11:47 AM

Easihair Pro, manufacturer of professional hair extensions, has introduced The Eliminator, a shear designed exclusively for blending hair extensions.  The shear has a low reduction rate (how much hair is removed with each cut) to allow stylists to blend and layer extensions without actually cutting. The shear removes 10 to 15 percent of the hair with each cut, giving the stylist control and confidence. The Eliminator features a double sided construction—one side serrated and the other straight-toothed. The serrated blade creates a soft edge when blending and a perfect vortex when cutting at an angle.

“Stylists tell us their greatest fear is cutting extensions,” says Easihair Pro CEO Paul Reynolds.”We teach extensionists never to ‘cut,’ but to ‘blend’ extensions into the client’s hair. The Eliminator gets its name from eliminating the fear of taking too much weight out of the hair and making costly mistakes.”

The Eliminator is included in Easihair Pro’s Level 2 education course, “Basic Hair Extension Cutting and Blending.” To learn more, visit easihairpro.com.
