Tight Curls, Long-Lasting Waves with Sultra The Bombshell

Anne Moratto | August 9, 2013 | 12:20 PM

On the runway at Marc by Marc Jacobs and Just Cavalli, the look was a head full of tight waves and curls, coaxed out and up, into a beautiful, big style.

Omar Lopez, Sultra Artistic Director, uses The Bombshell 3⁄4-Inch Rod Curling Iron from the Sultra Bombshell line of irons to create long-lasting curls.

Get the Look:

 1. Start by spraying dry or damp strands with sea salt spray and then create a clean side part.

2. Take 1⁄4 to 1⁄2-inch sections and wrap hair around the iron’s 3⁄4-inch barrel and hold in place until the hair is hot.

3. Remove the iron and hold the section in place for a few seconds until curl has cooled. The secure the spiral in place using a clip or bobby pin.

4. Wrap. Release. Repeat.

5. Once hair has set, gently brush through and finish with a flexible hold hairspray.
