Naya Rivera Looks Svelte and Sexy at 2013 VMAsActress Naya Rivera appeared on the Red Carpet at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) in a slinky black gown off set by her raven tresses. Celebrity stylist Clyde Haywood used Wella Professionals styling and finishing products for her simple, but stunning style.

“Her dress was an inspiration for her super sexy 70s vibe. With peek-a-boo cut outs and cool gold inserts, we collaborated to go for a modern-day Cher look,” says Haywood. He decided to go long and sleek with a center part and lots of added texture to keep the look “ultra cool and up to date.”

Wash and condition hair with Wella Professionals Enrich Shampoo and Conditioner, to create ideal condition.

Apply a generous amount (about five pumps) of Wella Professionals Velvet Amplifier to damp hair about one inch from roots adding more product while working down the length of the hair.

Take a center part and blow dry each section using a large, round brush to create a smooth, sleek finish. Apply tension with the brush at the roots and loosen the tension as you dry to the ends.

Spray about 10 sprits of Wella Professionals Ocean Sprits to dry hair and rough-dry with blow dryer to fatten the hair and give it a super chunky texture. Spray Ocean Spritz in hands and tousle to enhance layers and give the fringe a sexy little jut.

Finish the style by misting overall with Wella Professionals Stay Essential Finishing Spray.
