Recently, MODERN SALON joined the Cosmetologists Chicago Artistic Team, including Paul Chambers of KuttinEge’ Salon, Paul Wilson of Art + Science Salons, Chloe Zolo of J. Gordon Designs, Laura Kelley-Hayes of The East Studio and Sara Koseck and Fran Ciolla of Mario Tricoci Hair Salons & Day Spas to photograph their interpretations of spring 2014 hair trends.

The team of hairdressers, led by co-directors Karen Gordon of J. Gordon Designs and John Gialluisi of Mario Tricoci Hair Salons & Day Spas, created two looks for each model. The Modern Volume themed shoot featured braiding techniques, crimping and extensions to manipulate texture and add additional height. A palette of monochromatic fashions, minimal make-up and a bold wine-stained lip complemented the styles.

The photo shoot was photographed by Akin Girav. CHECK OUT a sneak peek of the photos below and be sure to keep up to date with America's Beauty Show news at blog.americasbeautyshow.com.
