Catch Us at ISSE

Stacey Soble | July 10, 2011 | 3:10 PM

Jamie Carroll from MODERN SALON LEARNING and I will be teaming up for one of ISSE's complimentary Business Headquarters classes with sessions on January 31 and February 1. In fact, I believe both days we're on stage right after Tabatha Coffey, so follow the crowd!

Jamie and I promise it'll be a jam-packed Magical Mystery hour as we're both prepared to share some great information to steer your business in the year ahead. I'll be giving some insight into the state of salon business based on the recently released results of the 2010 SALON TODAY 200 competition. Plus, I'll be introducing you to some of our new products, and showing you how you can be more involved with the editorial team at SALON TODAY and MODERN SALON. Jamie will be showing owners how to utilize search engine optimization (SEO) and Google ad word strategy for maximum impact for your website and your business. He promises to give you some great ideas you can implement to your site the day you get back from the show.

Here's the when and where:

Everything You Need to Know About the Goldwell Color Zoom Competition

Alison Alhamed | October 1, 2017

Color Zoom 101: Every year, Goldwell releases a trend collection that is used as the inspiration for its annual haircolor and style competition, Color Zoom. Across the globe, Color Zoom starts on a national level. Beauty pros compete in three categories— Creative Colorist, New Talent Colorist, Partner Colorist—by submitting a photo of their interpretation of the trend. Once the Gold winners of each category are determined on a national level, they go on to compete internationally on behalf of their respective countries during a live recreation of the look on their model—including the hair color—in front of a judging panel and audience. The international leg of the competition takes place in a new city each year.
