Patricia Morales: Coiffed for Quinceañera

Alicia Liotta | July 10, 2011 | 6:06 PM

Gala hair, make-up and wardrobe are imperative for “Quinceañera,” the community and family celebration marking the entry of a 15-year-old Hispanic girl into her adult life. The girl is the center of attention, like a debutante or a bride, and her appearance is noted by every relative and friend and captured forever in photographs.

That’s why Patricia Morales, who has dressed the tresses of celebs like Christina Aguilera and Fergie, chose to simplify for these Quinceañera looks.

“I wanted to create something classic and not overdone so that when the client looks back at her Quinceañera, she will always enjoy the timeless hair,” she says. “I chose these looks to go with more of a glamorous Hollywood style.”

Classic thermal setting techniques, coupled with a light hand in finishing, create three looks that a young girl will feel gorgeous wearing on her special day ... and comfortable viewing a photo a decade from now.
