Beth Minardi: The Golden Touch

Web Editor | July 10, 2011 | 6:06 PM
“I want her to sparkle,” said Beth Minardi of her natural Level 6/7 model. “But more importantly, I want her to sparkle throughout. Many colorists will put all the blonde in the front and none in the back. It’s like putting a black slip under a white dress. I believe highlights should float throughout the hair and echo what nature would do had the client been highlighted by the sun.”

“Not all blonde has to be super, super light,” says Beth Minardi, of Minardi Salon in NYC, of the natural look she and her team created here.

“A look of gentle blonde using a variety of shades can be equally striking.”

“This is one of my favorite transformations yet!" says Tara Lynne (@taralynne_hairartist), an independent artist based in Claremont, Perth. Australia. "My client has terribly damaged bleached hair from a hairdresser she had been seeing for years. I truly nearly cried and knew I had to get my hands on it.“ Details here.
