America's Beauty Show 

March 1-3, 2008, McCormick Place Convention Center, Chicago, IL

America's Beauty Show, traditionally the Chicago Midwest Beauty Show, has amped up its annual program significantly for the 2008 show in its new, downtown Chicago, IL location.  In addition to the elaborate exhibits of the industry's heavy hitters and extensive education offered yearly, America's Beauty Show has lined up an incredible group of international educators for its main stage, renamed The Runway. Headlined by Nick Arrojo, Oscar & Wendy Bond, Yves Durif, and Tim Hartley, it features live education for all attendees in the center of the show floor, daily.  The following events will be co-located with the show, providing the most extensive, can't-miss beauty event of the decade:

OMC HairWorld Championships of Beauty Produced by Organisation Mondiale Coiffure (OMC), the world's largest beauty organization representing hairdressing federations in 70 countries, HairWorld takes place every two years in a different host country. The NCA, the USA representative to the OMC, has hosted HairWorld in America just four times-in 1976, 1984, 1996 and 2002-and will again in 2008.  OMC HairWorld is expecting 10-15,000 international guests representing more than 50 countries worldwide.

Future VISION 08 at America's Beauty Show- Future Vision 08, in collaboration with Wella Professioanls, Sebastian Professional and Graham Webb, at America's Beauty Show will be filled with the amazing talent of the brightest luminaries on the international beauty scene, including hairdressing icons Sonya & Christopher Dove, the Vidal Sassoon Creative Team and Nick Arrojo.

The Salon Sustainability Summit- Designed to help salon owners and pros "Go Green," the Salon Sustainability Summit brings a panel of experts to encourage sustainability on every level. Green marketing experts Darrin Duber-Smith, MaryBeth Janssen, David Raccuglia, Eric Fisher and Frederic Holzberger. Geno Stampora ends the day on a motivation note encouraging all salon professionals to make a difference.

African-American Hair 2008!- This dynamic forum will provide in-depth classes from industry experts including Jacqueline Tarrant, James Adams, and Dr. Boogie, all promoting exciting new trends for black hair. Attendees can expect electric stage presentations from company educators sponsored by Clairol Professional, Namastè and SoftSheen-Carson.

CEO Panel- Beauty industry CEOs will meet face-to-face with salon professional attendees March 2, 2008 at America's Beauty Show to discuss a variety of issues pertinent to the salon and spa business.  Among the featured CEO's are John Paul Dejoria of John Paul Mitchell Systems, George Schaeffer of OPI, Sara Jones of Joico, Lee Rizzuto, Jr. of Conair and Lydia Sarfati of Repechage.

2008 INTA Conference-  Now in its sixth year, the INTA Conference will provide more education than ever-with the latest fashion trends, the newest products and exciting demonstrations for all professional nail technicians. Featured educators include Nancy King Heupel, Kevin Heupel, Jaime Schrabeck, and Roxanne Valinoti.

America's Latino Beauty Congress- Cosmetólogos Latinos®, the growing bilingual extension of Cosmetologists Chicago®, presents America's Latino Beauty Congress, March 2-3, 2008 in downtown Chicago, IL. Celebrated Latino artists and educators who will ignite the stage for guests coming from around the world, include Paul Vega, Raúl Martez, Manúel Rodriguez, Jose Irizarry, Julio de la Torre, Marco Ortiz, George Gomez and Martin Salinas.

America's Expo for Skin Care & Spa- America's Expo co-producers, Cosmetologists Chicago® and Skin Inc. magazine, are bringing hands-on lectures and demonstrations led by recognized educational leaders and manufacturers as well as spa-specific exhibitors.
