OPI ReformulatesWith the recent news of questionable ingredients in make-up lines, perfumes, deodorants and nail polishes, OPI notes that it continues to be committed to the safety of consumers and beauty professionals.

Since 2006, OPI has reformulated its entire line of nail lacquers, treatments and hardeners to eliminate DBP (dibutyl phthalate) and toluene. Formaldehyde was never an ingredient in OPI lacquers or treatments. Although some OPI Nail Hardeners do contain formaldehyde, the company formulates others without to give consumers a choice, and the levels of formaldehyde are more than four times below the safe levels established by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
