WHITE PLAINS, NY – (September 24, 2008) – Following an extensive pilot program, the Heavenly Spa by Westin officially launches worldwide with the introduction of six new Heavenly Spas this year: at The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi; The Westin Beijing Chaoyang; The Westin Huntsville, Alabama; The Westin Sohna Gurgaon Resort & Spa, India; The Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort, Maui; and The Moana Surfrider, a Westin Resort.  The Heavenly Spa brand continues Westin’s goal of bringing personal renewal to all guests, and offers an array of signature treatments and experiences aimed at whole-body wellness and revitalization. Each Heavenly Spa property will also include unique programs that reflect local culture and customs. Currently available at 13 Westin Hotels & Resorts, the Heavenly Spa phenomenon will expand to more than 34 additional properties by 2011, and is built upon two of Westin’s core philosophies: helping guests feel better when they leave than when they arrived, and whole-body wellness as a lifestyle that reaches beyond the hotel’s doors.

“When we started the Heavenly Spa concept, we saw it as a chance to perfect our vision for a spa that fully embodied our vision of renewal,” said Sue Brush, Senior Vice President, Westin Hotels & Resorts. “Following the overwhelming response to The Heavenly Spas already in service, we’re thrilled to unveil the brand’s signature experiences and move forward with an aggressive growth strategy for this new global standard.”
