Clairol Launches Color From the Heart
Clairol Professional is launching its âTrue Color from the Heartâ contest during February 2009âAmerican Heart Month. The program, which will continue through June 2009, is a continuation of Clairol Professionalâs support of the Heart Associationâs âGo Red for Womenâ campaign to raise awareness of heart disease among women.
Stylists can support the campaign by purchasing select products from Clairol Professionalâs Miss Clairol, Professional Premium Color CrÃ¨me and Second Nature brands that carry the Go Red for Women logo. Twenty cents from each purchase will benefit the campaign. Additionally, the company has enlisted two celebrity stylists (Rona OâConnor and Jennifer J.) to create techniques for the True Color From the Heart contest, which is open to all colorists. Contest participants will create a client makeover based on OâConnor and Jennifer J.âs red, brunette or blonde techniques for a chance to win a trip to Premiere Orlando, a $250 American Express gift card and dinner with Clairol Professional Artistic Director Danny Lapointe and Lead Color Master Anita Gutierrez.
