My FAVORITE show is always Betsey Johnson. Everything about it is perfect....fashions, hair, make up, nails, accessories, models, yummies backstage, the mood both front and back of house, the crowd, the room set up, everything. Betsey brings out the best in everyone and then brings out her toddler granddaughter Layla at the end of the show. Dressed in matching tu-tus and ballet slippers, it's impossible NOT to smile. She tops it all off with a cartwheel (or two) down the runway to signal its all over! It's all about fun, fun, fun...happy, happy, happy!
There's a lot of "good" at a Betsey show, but some say her "goodie bag" is easily the best offered at any of the shows. This year was no exception. The very generous Betsey places a prize at every seat, but puts in some VERY special items in the bag for her front row or "table" guests. These seats are reserved for friends, celebrities, top buyers and top editors, but somehow I ended up at a table near LL Cool J!
