Looking to add a little sparkle to your clients boring old ’do this holiday season? Tyson Daniel, stylist at Amazing Space Salon in Salt Lake City and Pureology PureArtist, created these party looks for clients on the holiday social scene. Recreate them and give your clientele something to talk about.

1.Begin the design below the occipital. Take one-inch sections and wrap vertically in a large curling iron.

2. Work around the head and pin curls in place and allow to cool.

3. Once cooled, drop the hair and isolate the top section. Take vertical sections from the side, pull out and back comb the two to three inches closest to the root.

4. Take the side section, leaving out the hairline, and smooth to the occipital.

5. Twist and pin just below the crown. Repeat on the other side.

6. Have the client lean back and rack the hair back to the crown.

7. Push the hair forward to create separation and lift.

8. Twist the hair and pin to the crown.

9. Take a section from one side of the draped hair and twist.

10. Direct the rest of the hair to that side and wrap the twist around the lengths.

11. Wrap down to the end and secure.

12. Return to the crown and push the hair into the desired shape.
