I don't really have the words to express how much, as a teen, I loved the original Beverly Hills, 90210. I wanted to rock Kelly Taylor's hairstyles, although unfortunately as a brunette with thick, wavy hair, those weren't the ones that really suited me. So I'm pretty excited that they've created a new generation of 90210!

I don't think I'm quite the target demographic this time around, but I've still enjoyed it-and the hairstyles, of course. This second season of the show has been getting even bigger ratings than the last, and two of the cast members, Jessica Stroup and Shenae Grimes, have tweaked their looks with the new season. So be prepared for an influx of the tween and teen crowd with these tips on re-creating their new styles straight from Joico's George Papanikolas.

Hair Tips from the World's Most Famous Zip Code

Jessica Stroup, who plays Erin Silver, has cut her long dark locks into a short, choppy bob. She's also ditched the dark in favor of some caramel highlights to show off the cut.

Papanikolas first deepened Jessica's base color from her natural level 6, light brown, to a level 4 dark brown using Joico's Chrome Color 4N.  Then on the outer layer of the hair, he did a few baliaged highlights focusing most of the highlights towards the end of the hair, giving her caramel tips. He then glossed the entire head with a dark ash blonde (Chrome A7).

Shenae Grimes, who plays Annie Wilson, has taken her long hair lighter this season.

Working with her natural base color, Papanikolas applied baliaged highlights using Joico Vero Bleach with 40 volume. He focused the product mostly on the ends of the hair, giving a bleached out effect on the tips, while maintaining her dark roots.
