The model's long, lank hair lacked shape and drama pre cut and color.
Begin with the precut. Remove length.
Begin color at the fringe. Take fine slices along a Mohawk section. Apply Redken Blonde Dimensions powder lightener with 20-volume developer.
Finish foiling the Mohawk section.
Apply color to the rest of the hair (Shades EQ 1B Onyx), beginning at the root, and draw through to the ends.
Process for 25 minutes at room temperature. Shampoo.
Apply a semi-permanent bright, blue shade over all the hair.
Begin the cut on the side. Isolate the top from the temple to front of crown. Take diagonal sections over the ear and elevate with tension. Razor from desired length to connect to the pre-cut length.
Continue working up the head.
Now take vertical sections in the back. To layer, pull and razor straight through to create a clean finish. Continue in pie-shaped sections.
At front, bring down isolated sections and comb as the hair is to be worn. Direct forward and cut with slight elevation. Cut to leave length toward the front.
Remove excess weight within the interior with texturizing shears.
Blend down into nape.
For one finished look, wrap the fringe forward with an iron.
Roll and pin.
While the front is cooling, go to the back and blow the hair up, using spray to set the look.
Return to the fringe and texturize with fingers.
