The Pro-Tech Faceshield

Maggie Mulhern | July 10, 2011 | 9:51 PM

We love finding new products that serve a purpose. Christian Colbert has created the PRO-TECH face shield, a disposable, 100% hypo-allergenic shield designed to protect a clients face during a salon service including cut and color design. “It’s perfect to use even for a finish spray to protect make up and to prevent inhalation of fumes,” says Christian.

“It’s already in several top salons in New York and Beverly Hills and several celebs use it for their own personal preparations.” Christian demonstrated on me, even taking a marker to draw on Harry Potter glasses (“This is a great way to get kids to enjoy a service even more!”) While there are 40 in a package ($9.95), they keep “disappearing” from the studio where hairstylists and models find them practical and fascinating.
