Advice for taming frizzy hair

July 10, 2011 | 10:26 PM
MODERN editors were live on the showfloor at Premiere Orlando — but also hit the streets for some interviews. It was hot and humid! We turned to our hair experts — our Facebook fans — for advice on taming the frizz. Here’s what they had to say:

Cheryl Danos Farman: If you don’t have time to get the treatment, use the Intense RX by Copolla. It does a FAB job on smoothing out frizzy ends :)

Brittney Tice: I like to use the Aveda Smooth Infusion Style prep smoother (two pumps) with a dime-size drop of Aveda Brilliant Universal Styling Creme.

Sherri Jessee: Rusk Wired with a few drops Deepshine Oil!

Andrea Thombs: Definitely Morrocanoil!

Selma Nellie Piña: Good old-fashioned recipe straight out of beauty old-school: Go to Sally’s Beauty Supply, buy and mix 1/2 and 1/2 of Cholesterol treatment with the pink Queen Helene styling gel and voila! An instant leave-in conditioner with built-in hold! I was a ‘beach bum’ in Miami and this worked wonders, not to mention under $10!
