Industry veterans and co-creators Maria Connelly and Carolyne Osterhues began the site after recognizing the need to increase accessibility between beauty professionals and clientele., A Facebook for StylistsThe website gives beauty professionals the opportunity to create an online profile for easier access to their information anytime, not just during salon hours. Personal profiles allow stylists to highlight their work and keep their clients updated easily with the latest trends, hour changes and new offerings. "Our goal is to revolutionize the beauty industry with a world-class marketing tool," says Osterhues. "There is a growing demand for personal appearance services and we want to lead the pack, to be were our market"

Easier accessibility was the main reason co-founder Maria Connelly decided to start She noticed a decrease in clients after coming back from maternity leave. "I found myself wishing for a better way to keep in touch with my let them know I was adding hours, going on vacation, or to see how they liked their hair," said Connelly.
