Style Ups and Downs at the SAG Awards

Kelly Cison | July 10, 2011 | 11:52 PM

The 2011 Screen Actors Guild Awards showcased hair that had a lot of ups, downs…and ponytails. Some stars kept it classic with an updo, while others let loose with hair worn down. Sleek ponytails were the mini-trend of the night.

Let's take a look at the Ups.

We loved January Jones sideswept hair, which didn't compete with her elaborate gown.

Eva Longoria looked like a Greek goddess, with her perfect coif and sweeping ivory dress.

Natalie Portman kept it sweet and simple in strapless with her slicked back bun.

Now, for the Downs….

Julie Bowen's long, straight hair paired nicely with her long, lean pantsuit.

Lea Michele rocked sexy waves in an even sexier gown.

And Mila Kunis' gorgeous flowing locks matched her equally gorgeous flowing gown.

Finally, the ponytail! While we saw sophisticated high ponys, classic low ponys with a middle part, we think the best look of the night was Angie Harmon, who really ruffled our feathers with her chic pony and pink ballgown.
