BookUrLook, a new Facebook application connecting clients with stylists and salons, has just been launched by P&G, the parent company of some of our favorite products including Wella, Sebastian, Clairol and Nioxin. This free, exclusive app allows clients to easily schedule salon appointments, search stylist’s portfolios, communicate directly with stylists in between salon visits for care and styling advice, and to share hair looks and inspiration with stylists and other users.
This client and salon friendly app should help clients and salon professionals both before and after salon visits, including:
- Offer clients the opportunity to search colorist portfolios to see their previous work.
- allow clients to upload their new looks to Facebook before stepping outside of the salon to show it off to friends and other BookUrLook users.
- Check all available appointment times online, allowing the client to secure an available appointment in real time.
BookUrLook is NYC based and currently connects users with nine premier New York City salons: Pipino 57, Pipino Nolita, Hiro Haraguchi Salon, Christopher Crabaugh Beauty, Ricardo Rojas Salon, Alma G Salon, Le Salon d’Art, Red Market Salon and Mario Diab Salon.
