Inspired by the latter half of Judy Garland's life, the Chris Benz Autumn/Winter 2012 Fashion Week collection offers whimsical pieces reminiscent of a mid-western housewife clinging to glamour in the 1950s or 60s. Super femme details of bows, sequins and bright colors were met with garnish make-up and a deconstructed wig courtesy of TIGI's Nick Irwin. This prim and proper lady is decidedly disheveled at the hands of Chris Benz and his glam team.

GET THE LOOK:

   1. Beginning with a Mason Pearson and short, curly acrylic wig, aggressively brush out all the curls to create the beginning stages of deconstruction.
   2. Using dry shampoo, spray the entire wig while simutaneously "back-brushing" to create a dry, matte, vintage look with height. You should likely use the entire can.
   3. Then, using your hand, flatten the sides of the wig and apply heat with a blow dryer to set.
   4. Finish with hairspray.
