Dean Banowetz Introduces InstylerPro IQ

Maggie Mulhern | March 6, 2012 | 10:18 AM

What an honor! Dean Banowetz chose the Modern Salon Media booth at the ABS show to give a sneak peak to his new InstylerPro IQ iron to the salon industry.  “My professional friends have been asking me to come up with a tool just for them,” he told me before we began the demo. “It is a perfect tool for a hairdresser. The InstylerPro IQ is great because the barrel customizes to what you want.  You can straighten, flip in, flip out, add curl, body, shine, volume, texture, curl and smooth…all with this one tool!” Banowetz has been working on the tool for “many years” and the Tourmaline Ceramic floating blade is removable. The IQ features a dual temperature dial and a barrel in ¾ and 1 ¼ inches in diameter. Says Banowetz about his smart tool: “It’s pretty awesome!”
