The Blow Tour

Blow, the petite but powerful salon in the Meatpacking district of NYC, is known for not just its expert blow drying service, but for its professional education as well. The 11 station space was recently re-vamped to better serve clients and to better display the BLOW line of products.

We stopped by and asked General Manager Ed McDaniel for a tour. Good news! Not only was Education Director Gregory Patterson in residence that day, but Kevin Lindberg, the head Creative Director and display genius from Sheridan&Co., was there to make sure everything was in working order.

"We wanted to communicate that there was a strong product range," Kevin tells us. "There are now display areas and stations and it all makes the line accessible and welcoming."

As far as the stations are concerned, Gregory points out that BLOW carries the luxury service straight through to the spacious station. "And for the professional, the Blow Pro Academy is one of the most exciting educational opportunities out there. Stylists from around the world have come to our academy to learn our signature techniques."
