Thom Browne creates fun and fabulous fashions. No surprise....Thom called in Bumble and Bumble's Jimmy Paul to create fun and fabulous hair to complement his Spring 2013 collection presented today during New York Fashion Week.
"The inspiration is circles," Jimmy told me. "Thom Browne wanted buns and contrasted colors. We are creating wigs to place on top and all will have contrasting colors...blondes will get dark wigs, and dark haired models will get lighter shades."
Turns out all of this was a last minute decision. Jimmy was whipping up the wigs backstage while the models were in make up. Although there was a real time crunch, he couldn't resist adding some of his new favorite... Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil..to my wind blown ponytail. But then he got back to business and created great hair for great fashion.
Thom Browne was an especially fun show....especially FOR ME!
