Although your spa might not offer injectible cosmetic treatments such as Botox or hyaluronic acid fillers, you might still perform facials on clients who are fresh from having their lines plumped by their dermatologist. These clients, of course, require special care and the last thing smooth skin seekers want to do is irritate their red, sensitive skin with harsh cleansers.

Consider designating part of your spa menu to post-cosmetically treated clients. One easy way to do this is to offer products and services that contain tea—a revitalizing ingredient that pampers damaged skin. According to the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, tea polyphenols are strong antioxidants, more powerful than Vitamin C and Vitamin E. Studies further suggest that tea polyphenols have an anti-inflammatory effect.

Tozzi Skincare recently launched a tea-based Repair & Restore product line for that very purpose. It includes: Fortified Cleanser, Eye Serum, Green Tea Cream and Green Tea Serum. The formulation was developed by Donna Tozzi B.S.N., R.N., specifically for cosmetic patients in response to their questions of what skin care steps to take after a procedure.

In addition to offering creams and serums that contain green tea, consider adding soothing tea masks and other treatments on your menu that specifically cater to post-cosmetically injected clients. It could be a whole new client category for you to beautify.
